Voight, Gottfried

Voight, Gottfried a learned German, was born in April, 1644, at Delitsch, in Misnia, and was the son of a rich merchant. He studied at Altenberg and Wittenberg, and was for twenty-three years rector of the School of Gustrow, and afterwards of that of St. John at Hamburg, where he died, July 7,1682.
