Shimron (2)

Shimron The present Semuinieh is described in the Memoirs accompanying the Ordnance Survey (1:280) as "a small village on a knoll at the edge of the plain of Esdraelon [five miles west of Nazareth], with three springs and contains probably less than one hundred souls." It has "artificial mounds, traces of ruins, and a sarcophagus" (ibid. page 339).
