Naur, Elias Elkildsen

Naur, Elias Elkildsen a Danish divine and edui cator, noted, however, mainly as a hymnologist, flourished in the early part of the last century. He was a professor in the gymnasium at Odensee, in Funen, and died in 1728. He is known bv:us simply as the author ,of the Danlisi hymn transltedy Sabine Barney Gould, "When my tongue can no more."
