Herrnhut

Herrnhut a town of Saxony, in Upper Lusatia, in the circle of Dresden, at the foot of Hutberg Mountain, and about fifty miles from the city of Dresden. It was built by Zinzendorf in 1722 for the Moravian Brethren, who, from this town, are often called Herrnahuters. SEE MORAVIANS.
