Collins, Elizabeth

Collins, Elizabeth a minister of the Society of Friends, was born January 4, 1755, in Upper Evesham, N.J. In 1779 she was appointed a minister, and travelled through many of the states, doing efficient work for the Master. The most striking characteristic in her life was her intense interest in and concern for the poor. She died February 1, 1831. See Annual Monitor, 1834, page 99.
