Collectarium

Collectarium is a book of collects or short prayers, anciently called a "coucher." The latter word appears to be thus derived: collectarium, collectier, colctier, coulctier, couctier, couchier, coucher. The term "coucher" is frequently found in English mediaeval MSS., and occasionally in church inventories and churchwardens' accounts.
