Clough, William

Clough, William, an English Wesleyan minister, was born at Bishopthorpe, near York, May 30,1799. He was converted in his sixteenth year, entered the conference in 1823, and was stationed at Epworth. From 1824 to 1830 he labored on the islands of St. Kitt's, Nevis, Montserrat, and Antigua, W.I. He returned to England and occupied several circuits, until his death, Dec. 10, 1846.
