Chemnitz, Christian, a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Konigsfeld, Jan. 17, 1615. He studied at Leipsic and Jena, and died while professor of theology, June 3, 1666, leaving, Brevis Instructio Fututri Ministr i Ecclesice: —
