Brewster, James (1)

Brewster, James (1), an English martyr, was of the parish of St. Nicholas, in Colchester. He was a carpenter, and listened to the reading of the Bible from one William Sweeting. For this he was burned in Smithfield, October 18, 1511. See Fox, Acts and Monuments, 4:215.
