Askin, Thomas

Askin, Thomas a Christian martyr, was burned at Newbury, with Julius Palmer, July 25, 1556, because he would persist in reading the Scriptures and saying his prayers, contrary to the popish orders. See Fox, Acts and-Monuments, 8:201.
