Askin, George

Askin, George a Methodist Episcopal minister, was a native of Ireland. His early life is wrapped in obscurity. On emigrating to America he, in 1801, entered the Virginia Conference, and in it.. served the Church with more than usual zeal and acceptability until his death, Feb. 28, 1816.
