Alessandro, Innocenzio an Italian engraver was born at Venice in 1740. He engraved several plates in aquatinta and in the crayon manner, of which the following are the principal: The Annunciation: The Flight into Egypt, after F. Le Moine: — The Virgin Mary with a glory of angels, after Piazzetta: — The Virgin Mary, with guardian angels releasing the souls in Piurgatory, after Sebastian Ricci: — two landscapes, and a set of twelve landscapes after Marco Ricci: — four prints representing Painting, Music, Astronomy, and Geometry, after Domenico Majotto.
