Zar'aces (Ζαράκης v.r. Ζαραῖος; Vulg. Zaraceles), a corrupt Greek form (1 Esdr. 1, 38) of the Heb. name of the brother of Joacim (Jehoiakin), king of Judah, probably ZEDEKIAH SEE ZEDEKIAH (q.v.).
