Woog, Carl Christoph

Woog, Carl Christoph a German linguist, was born in 1713 at Dresden, and died as professor of Greek and Latin at Leipsic, April 24, 1771. He is the author of, Presbyteror. et Diaconor. Achaiae de Martyrio S. Andrae Epistola Encyclica (Leipsic, 1749): — Progr. de Genuinis Antiquitatum Sacrar. in Primitiva Ecclesia Obviar. Fontib.
