Willm, JOSEPH

a Protestant pedagogue and philosopher, was born at Heiligenstein in 1792. In 1821 he was professor at the gymnasium in Strasburg, in 1826 professor of philosophy at the seminary, and died in 1853. He published, De l'Education du People (1843): — Histoire de la Philosophie Allemande Depuis Kant (1844), which received the prize from the French Academv of Sciences. From 1844 to 1850 he was one of the contributors to the Dictionnaire des Sciences Philosophiques, published by Hachette.
