Webb, Samuel an English Wesleyan minister, was born at Hanham, near Bristol, in 1783. He feared the Lord from his youth, and joined the Methodist Church at the age of twenty-two. He was called into the ministry in 1808, in which he continued with an unsullied reputation until his death, June 25, 1847.
