Vigerus, Marcus

Vigerus, Marcus a Ligurian Dominican, a professor of theology at Padua and Rome, and a cardinal, was born in 1446. He wrote various treatises respecting the death of Christ, which were printed in two volumes at Douay in 1607. He died in 1516. See Mosheim, Hist. of the Church, bk. 3, cent. 15 pt. 2, ch. 2.
