Vial is the rendering, in the A.V., of פִּך, pak (from פָּכָה, to distil), a bottle or flask, e.g. of oil (1Sa 10:1; "box," 2Ki 9:1,3); and φιάλη (1 Esdr. 2, 13; Re 5:8, etc.), a bowl (q.v.).
