Tyrrhenus

Tyrrhenus in Greek mythology, was a son of Hercules and Omphale, or a son of Telephus and Hiera, and a brother of Tarchon; or a son of Atys and Callithea, and brother of Lydus. He is said to have introduced the use of the great sea-shell as a trumpet. He colonized that part of Italy named after him at the time of his flight from Maeonia because of starvation.
