Syllabae Enthronistcae

Syllabae enthronistcae (Συλλαβαὶ ἐνθρονιστικαί), circular letters written by bishops recently installed to foreign bishops, to give them an account of their faith and orthodoxy, that they might receive letters of peace and communiion from them. See Bingham, Christ. Antiq. bk. 2, ch. 12 § 10.
