Sydeserf, Thomas

Sydeserf, Thomas a Scotch prelate, was translated from Brechin to Galloway in 1638, and was excommunicated. He was the only bishop who survived the troubles, and then was translated to the see of Orkney, November 14, 1662. He died in February 1676. See Keith, Scottish Bishops, pages 228, 281.
