Smith, Clark A

Smith, Clark A., a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Salem, Washington Co., N.Y., Dec. 3, 1810; converted Sept. 14, 1828; licensed to exhort in 1830, and as local preacher in 1835; received on trial soon after, and traveled Lawrenceville, Loyalsock, Chemung, Towanda, Fairport, and Millmont circuits. He died Sept. 13, 1844. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 3, 643.
