Shower

Shower is the rendering in the A.V. of גֶּשֶׁ ם, gesheam (Eze 13:11,13; Eze 34:26), a heavy rain (as elsewhere rendered); ὄμβρος (Lu 12:54); זֶרֶ ם, zerem (Job 24:8), a pouring rain (elsewhere "storm," "tempest," etc.); and רבֵיבַי ם, rebibism (from their multitude), drops (De 32:2;. Ps 65:10; Ps 72:7; Jer 3:3; Jer 14:2; Mic 5:7). SEE RAIN.
