Sherrill, Edwin Jenner

Sherrill, Edwin Jenner, a Congregational minister, was burn in Shoreham, Vt., Oct. 23, 1806. His preparatory studies were completed in Middlebury, after which he entered Hamilton, College, N.Y., whence he was graduated in 1832. He spent two years of study in Yale Theological Seminary, Mass., and one year at Andover Seminary. He was ordained at Eaton, Quebec, June 15, 1838, and continued in the pastoral charge of that church until November, 1873. Though not formally dismissed, he removed to Lee, Mass. in 1875. He died in the city of New York, June 1, 1877. (W.P.S.)
