Sheridan, Andrew J

Sheridan, Andrew J., a. minister of the Methodist Episcopal.Church, was born in Butler, County, O., Feb. 7, 1825, but emigrated early to Indiana. He was converted and joined the Church in 1841, and licensed to preach in 1852. He was admitted on trial into the Northwest Indiana Conference in 1853, after spending four years in the Asbury University. In 1860 he received a superannuated relation, which he changed to that of effective in 1865. He was then appointed to Mechanicsburg. Circuit, where he died, Jan. 10, 1867.
