Sha'ronite (Heb. Sharoni', שָׁרוֹנַי, a Gentile adj. from Sharon; Sept. Σαρωνίτης), the designation (1Ch 27:29) of Shitrai, David's chief herdsman in the plain of Sharon, where he of course resided.
