Schock, Charles

Schock, Charles a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was born in Stuttgart, Germany, July 1, 1812, and emigrated to Philadelphia, Pa., 1829. Removing to Wilmington, Del., he there united with the Methodist Episcopal Church. He joined the Philadelphia Conference in 1838. He became supernumerary in 1855, and so remained until his death, which occurred in Philadelphia, March 24, 1872. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1873, p. 18.
