Schmid, Christian Friedrich (2)

Schmid, Christian Friedrich a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born November 20, 1741, at Roglitz, near Merseburg. He studied at Leipsic, and commenced his academical career there in 1764. He was professor in 1767, went to Wittenberg in 1772, took the degree of doctor of theology in the same year, and died May 19, 1778.
