Ripley, Lincoln, a Congregational minister, was born at Woodstock, Conn., in 1761. Late in life he entered Dartmouth College, where he graduated in 1796. He soon after entered the ministry and settled at Waterford, Me., then a wilderness. His life was identified with the early history of the Church and town of Waterford. He severed his connection with that Church in 1821, and died July 14, 1858. See Amer. Cong. Yearbook, 1859, p. 128.
