Riggs, Cyrus C., D.D.

a Presbyterian minister, was born at Fairfield, Pennsylvania, April 10, 1810. He graduated from Jefferson College in 1836, studied at the Western Theological Seminary, was licensed to preach in 1839, ordained in 1840, pastor in Illinois until 1845, then in Maryland and Pennsylvania, and teacher in Beaver, Pennsylvania, in 1869.
