Pfannkuche, Heinrich Freidrich

Pfannkuche, Heinrich Freidrich a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born November 28, 1766. For some time private tutor at Goittingen. he was in 1803 called to Giessen as professor of Oriental languages, and he died October 7, 1833, doctor of theology. He wrote, Exercitationes in Ecclesiastce Salomoni Vulgo — Tributi Locum Vexatissim. cap. 11:7 — 12:7 (Gottingen, 1794): — Observat. Philolog. et Critic, ad quaedam Psalmorum Loco, Specimen (Bremen, 1791): — De odicum MSS. Hebr. Veteris Testamenti et Versionum Chaldaicarum in Lectionibus Anti-masorethis Consensu (Giessen, 1803).
