Norton, John (2)

Norton, John (2), an American Presbyterian minister, nephew of the preceding, was born about 1650, was educated at Harvard University, class of 1671, and, after entering the ministry in 1678, became second pastor at Hingham, Mass. He died in 1716. He was noted as a pulpit orator of no mean order, and generally beloved by his people. See Lincoln, Hist. of Hinghan.
