Newton, Roger, D.D.

a Congregational minister, was born at Durham, Connecticut, May 23, 1737. He graduated from Yale College in 1758; studied theology under Reverend Elizur Goodrich; was constituted pastor of the Church in Greenfield, November 18, 1761; and died December 10, 1816.
