Necodan

Neco'dan

(Νεκωδάν, Vulg. Nechodalcus), given (1 Esdr. 5:37) as the name of the head of one of the Israelitish families who had lost their pedigree in Babylon; in place of the NEKODA SEE NEKODA (q.v.) of the Heb. text (Ezr 2:60).
