Monteth (or Monteith, or Even Montieth), Robert

Monteth (or Monteith, or even Montieth), Robert a Scotch priest, who was chaplain of cardinal de Retz and a canon of Notre Dame, flourished near the middle of the 17th century. He wrote mainly works on secular history. See Allibone, Dict. of British and American Authors, s.v.
