Meis, Friedrich Ernst

Meis, Friedrich Ernst a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born June 26, 1658. He studied at Jena and Leipsic, was in 1688 conrector at Ichleusingen, in 1691 superintendent and pastor primarius, in 1699 doctor of theology, and died Dec. 20,1744.
