Me'dian (Chald. Mladaya', מָדָיא, marg. מָדָאָה; Sept. ὁ Μῆδος, Vulg. Medus), a patrial epithet of Darius, "the son of Ahasueras, of the seed of the Medes" (Da 9:1), or " the Mede" (11:1), as described in Daniel v. 31. SEE MEDE.
