Mcvean, Daniel Creighton

Mcvean, Daniel Creighton a Presbyterian minister, was born in Caledonia, Livingston County. N. Y., Oct. 10, 1818; graduated at Union College in 1844; pursued his theological studies in the Seminary of the Associate Reformed Synod of New York at Newburg, and in 1847 was licensed to preach. He traveled for two or three years as a probationer, and in 1850 was ordained and installed pastor of the Associate Reformed Church of Lyndon, where he labored for sixteen years. He died Sept. 7, 1868. Mr. McVean was a faithful pastor, a useful minister, and an eminently pious man. See Wilson, Presb. Hist. Almanac, 1868, p. 274.
