Mcconnell, William L

Mcconnell, William L., a Presbyterian minister, was born near Canonsburg, Pa., Sept. 19, 1829; graduated at Jefferson College, Canonsburg, Pa.; studied theology in the Associate Reformed Seminary, Alleghany, Pa.; and was licensed and ordained by Alleghany Reformed Presbytery in 1857. He accepted a call to Hanover Church, and subsequently to West Newton, Pa., where he labored until failing health compelled him to desist. He died July 18, 1866. See Wilson, Presb. Hist.
