Leonard, Josiah

Leonard, Josiah a Presbyterian minister, was born in Kingsborough, N. Y., April 15, 1816. He graduated from Union College in 1837, and finished his theological course in Union Seminary. He was ordained to the ministry in 1840, and was pastor of the following churches successively: Mexicoville, N. Y., 1840-4; Oswego, 1842-45; Dellii. 1845-48; Fulton, Ill., 1856-71. In 1872 he became stated supply at Clinton, Ia., where he died, Feb. 22, 1880. (W. P. S.)
