Landon, Whittington, Dd

Landon, Whittington, D.D., a clergyman of the Church of England, was for some time provost of Worcester College, Oxford. In 1813 he was appointed dean of Exeter, and in 1821 prebendary of Salisbury. He died in 1839. Some of his sermons were published in London (1812, 8vo, and in 1835, 8vo). — Allibone, Dictionary of English and American Authors, 2:1053.
