Konig, Georg a German Lutheran theologian, was born at Amberg Feb. 2,1590, and was educated at the universities of Wittenberg and Jena. In 1614 he was called as professor of theology to Altdorf, and in 1644 he added to the duties of his chair the librarianship of that high-school. He died Sept. 10,1654.
