Kobavius, Andreas, a noted Jesuit, was born at Cirkwitz in 1594, and died at Trieste Feb. 22, 1644. Of his personal history nothing further seems to be known. He wrote Vita B. Johannis fundatoris fratrum misericordice.- Allgem. Histor. Lex. 3:43.
