Kel'ita

[some Keli'ta] (Hebrew Kelita', קלַיטָא, dwarf; Sept. Κωλίτας, Καλλίτας, Καλιτάν), one of the Levites who assisted Ezra in expounding the law to the people (Ne 8:7), and joined' the sacred covenant (Ne 10:10); he was also one of those who had divorced their heathen wives (Ezr 10:23, where it is stated that his name was likewise KELAIAH). B.C. 459-410.
