Kartan (2)

Kartan The site which we have proposed for this is marked as Khan Katanah, four and a half miles north of Safed, on the Map of the Ordnance Survey, but is not described in the accompanying Memoirs. Tristram suggests (Bible Places, page 274) a trace of the name in Wady Kerkerah, which he vaguely describes as "running down to the sea."
