Justicers, Itinerant officers appointed by Richard I of England to watch over the interests of the Jews residents within the kingdom. They were instructed to protect the Hebrews against all oppression, to secure them in their interests and property, to decide all controversies between them and the Christians, to keep the seal of their corporation, and the keys of their public treasury.
