Jesh'ishai

[many Jeshish'ai', some Jeshisha'I] (Heb. Yeshishay', ישַׁישִׁי, grayish, perh. q.d. born of an old man, Sept. Ι᾿εσσαϊv v.r. Ι᾿εσαϊv), the son of Jahdo and father of Michael, of the ancestry of Abihail, a Gadite chief in Bashan (1Ch 5:14). B.C. long ante 782.
