Igdaliah

Igdali'ah (Heb. Yigdalyah', but only in the prolonged form, Yigdalya'hu, יַגדִּליָהוּ, whom Jehovah will make great; Sept. Γοδολίας, Vulg. Jegedalia), the father of Hanan, into the chamber of which latter Jeremiah brought the Rechabites to propose the test of their temperance (Jer 35:4). B.C. ante 606.
