Huppah

Hup'pah (Heb. Chuppah', חֻפָּה , a covering or bridal canopy, as in Ps 19:6; also protected, as in Isa 4:5; Sept. Ο᾿φφά v.r. Ο᾿πφά, and even Ο᾿χχοφφά), the head of the thirteenth of the twenty-four classes into which David divided the priests (1Ch 24:13). B.C. 1014.
