Hu (2)

Hu in the mythology of the Celts, was the supreme god in Britain. He seems to have been thought very noble, for the attributes given him point to a being such as can be represented only by a pure religion. Then Celts have a myth that, at the flood, he pulled the monster who caused the flood out of the water, and thus dried the earth.
